Bills GM Brandon Beane doubles down again on Keon Coleman support

Yahoo Sports

Here were Brandon Beane's latest thoughts on WR Keon Coleman ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Buffalo Bills continue their support of wide receiver Keon Coleman just ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft. The Bills caught heat after team owner Terry Pegula suggested earlier this offseason the decision to draft Coleman was not general manager Brandon Beane's. Rather, Pegula pointed toward forward head coach Sean McDermott which made it seem as if the owner disapproved of Coleman.

After that, Beane spoke to The Athletic and once again backed his team's wide receiver this week. The GM noted the constant support shown to Coleman since then is not "all talk. " That is the same kind of line Buffalo's new head coach Joe Brady has taken.

"I told Keon when I got hired, the best thing that happened to Keon Coleman was me being his head coach," Brady said earlier this offseason. "I was one of the ones that stood on the table for Keon Coleman, and I believe in Keon Coleman. " It remains to be seen if the Bills' actions follow suit.

If the team does use a top draft pick at the upcoming draft on a wide receiver? That's not a good show of support for Coleman. Beane's latest comments on Coleman can be found below: “It’s not all talk,” Beane told The Athletic.
