Apr. 17—BEMIDJI — Even though it's been over a year since Jackson Jutting wore a Bemidji State jersey, he's still making headlines. The former captain and 2025 graduate was named to the ECHL All-Rookie Team for 2025-26, which is determined by a vote from ECHL coaches, broadcasters, media relations directors and media, who were asked to select a goaltender, two defensemen and three forwards.

Playing for the Kansas City Mavericks, Jutting had 30 goals to lead all rookies. He was second among first-year players in points with 59 in 64 games. He had nine power-play goals and 11 game-winning goals.

Jutting has also played four games with the Grand Rapids Griffins this season, the American Hockey League affiliate for the Detroit Red Wings. He recorded one assist. Jutting is joined by goaltender T.
