Maryland lands former SEC sharpshooter
Bishop Boswell's transfer portal journey ends with him landing at Maryland after starting 33 of 34 games at Tennessee this season.
Maryland's offensive formula last season felt broken. They attempted the fifth-most threes per game in the Big Ten, but ranked third-to-last in three-point efficiency. If Buzz Williams and the Terrapins want to run that strategy back, they'll need players who can actually convert from long range.
Bishop Boswell should help in that regard, as he's committed to Maryland after entering the transfer portal. The guard was mothballed during his freshman year at Tennessee, but came on as a sophomore for the Volunteers. Boswell started 33 out of 34 games last year and shot 38 percent from downtown.
