Springfield Shawnee softball rallied with six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat Western Brown 13-11 on Thursday, April 16, setting up an undefeated matchup against Kenton Ridge with big implications for the Central Buckeye Conference. With two outs in the bottom of the seventh Byanca Dubie walked it off with her second home run of the night. Dubie powered the Shawnee offense with four hits, four RBI and three runs scored.

Adalyn Beach added a 2-for-4 day out of the leadoff spot with two runs scored and one RBI and Emma Holland drove in a pair of runs. The Braves improved to 15-0 with the win and up next is a meeting with 13-0 Kenton Ridge on Friday, April 17 at Shawnee High School. Baseball Springboro 13, Miamisburg 1: Kohen Hill drove in two runs off two hits with two runs scored, Dylan Brabston tossed five innings to earn the win and โ€˜Boro recovered from its first loss of the season to improve to 9-1.

Middletown Madison 4, Dayton Christian 3: Ashton Altman doubled and scored twice from the leadoff spot and Owen King pitched a complete game to help Madison earn a seventh straight win. Arcanum 14, Tri-Village 1: Regan Christ struck out eight over five innings to improve to 4-0, Derek Longstreth doubled and drove in three runs and Arcanum bumped to 5-0 in the WOAC. Twin Valley South 14, Ansonia 4: Dustin Miller struck out 14 over six innings and Wyatt Harrod hammered a two-run home run for TVS.

Newton 9, Mississinawa Valley 2: Willy Bowser blasted a two-run home run to pace Newton. Dixie 16, Franklin Monroe 11: Logan Williams, Noah Thompson and Dillon Phillips finished with three RBI apiece and the Dixie bats exploded with eight runs in the eighth inning to earn the win. Yellow Springs 4, Emmanuel Christian 3: Emmanuel Christian tied the game with two runs in the top of the seventh, but Yellow Springs won it in the bottom of the frame.

Anna 7, Fairlawn 2: Ezra Egbert went six innings with 10 strikeouts to pick up the win for Anna. Coldwater 7, St. Henry 3: Derek Dues and Karsyn Homan hit home runs and Coldwater gave St.
