Tigers Put Six on Individual Podiums, Earn 10 All-American Honors

LSU won’t take home any individual titles for the first time since 2023, but they picked up plenty of individual awards. Following the second session of the NCAA semifinals in which Oklahoma and Minnesota advanced to the championship, the NCAA handed out trophies to the top eight finishers on each event and the all-around. Kaliya Lincoln and Kailin Chio finished as co-runners-up to Oklahoma’s Keira Wells with matching 9.

9625s. On beam, Konnor McClain was one of four co-runners-up to Minnesota’s Brooklyn Rowray with a 9. 9500.

On floor, Amari Drayton was one of six gymnasts to tie for fourth with a 9. 9375, and Kailin finished as national runner-up with a 9. 9625 to UCLA’s Jordan Chiles.

Finally, Kailin finished as national all-around runner-up to Oklahoma’s Faith Torrez, someone making their season debut in the all-around, with a 39. 6125. LSU also added 10 NCAA All-America honors to bring the program to 367 total All-America honors.

These honors are given to the top eight people, including ties, on each event an the all-around in each session. First-team honors go to the top four including ties and second-team honors go to the next four including ties. Kailin Chio is a first-team All-American on vault, floor and the all-around, and she’s a second-team All-American on beam.
