The Ohio State women's basketball team lands commitment from Spain

The Ohio State women's basketball team received a second commitment for the 2026 class.

The Ohio State women's basketball team just added another recruit to its 2026 class. Having recent success with international players such as former forward Rebeka Mikulášiková and current center Elsa Lemmilä, Kevin McGuff went back to Europe to nab his newest playmaker. The Buckeyes gained a commitment from 6-foot forward Adriana Diaz from Spain.

Diaz plays professionally for Movistar Estudiantes Madrid and internationally for Spain’s youth team. While playing for Spain's U18 team this past season, Diaz averaged 7. 1 points and 4.

1 rebounds across seven games. She has been part of Spain's youth teams for the past four years. She chose the Buckeyes over Big Ten foe, Michigan State .
