Super Bowl champion Alshon Jeffery arrested over fraud scandal

Former NFL champion Alshon Jeffery is facing serious charges stemming from a felony insurance fraud case in California. Jeffery played a major role in the 2017 Super Bowl-winning Philadelphia Eagles after knocking off the New England Patriots. The former NFL wide receiver recorded a touchdown and 73 yards during the Eagles’ first NFL title in the Super Bowl era.

Meanwhile, he’s also allegedly been busted for failing to disclose insurance benefit or payment. It’s unclear what Jeffery’s future holds as the case is examined further.
