Roma open talks with Bayern for Noel Aseko With six matchdays remaining in the season, Roma’s squad will undergo a shakeup this summer. Between loans, transfers, and failed contract renewals, only a dozen of the current players are guaranteed to stay in the capital. For this reason, the Giallorossi have been exploring a number of names for some time now, potentially making a move this summer.
As reported by Sky Sport Germany, Roma have set their sights on young Bayern Munich midfielder Noel Aseko and have reportedly already initiated initial contact with the German club. Born in 2005, he currently plays for Hannover in the Bundesliga 2, but is owned by the Bavarians, who have exercised their buy-back option. The Bavarians plan to evaluate him during the summer training camp.
Only then will a final decision on Aseko be made. If the results are unfavorable, Bayern would be open to a transfer. Several European clubs are interested in the midfielder, including Aston Villa, Brighton, and Eintracht Frankfurt.
The value of the player is around €12 million, but the Giallorossi boast a good relationship with the Bavarian club, especially after the Zaragoza deal in January.
