NASCAR's active winless streaks heading into Kansas race, including Kyle Busch
Here's a look at NASCAR Cup Series' active winless streaks entering the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas.
Kyle Busch's NACAR Cup Series winless streak crossed the 100-race plateau in March. Busch started his Richard Childress Racing tenure with three wins over the first 16 races in 2023. He has not won since.
He won at World Wide Technology Raceway in Illinois on June 4, 2023, before embarking on a winless streak that reached 101 races when he finished 25th at Bristol on April 12. Busch, 40, has more NASCAR Cup Series wins (63) than any other active driver, but after winning the pole at the Daytona 500, he has not been in the top-10 in the 2026 season, with his last four finishes being 28th, 21st, 24th and 25th. STEVE O'DONNEL ON FAIRGROUNDS RACING: What NASCAR's Steve O'Donnell said about sport returning to Nashville Fairgrounds Busch has struggled in his last three races at Kansas, finishing 21st in the spring and 19th in the fall of 2025, and 25th in the fall of 2024.
He is currently 24th in the NASCAR Cup points standings, 46 points behind Shan van Gisbergen at 16th for the final Chase spot. Kyle Larson's last NASCAR Cup win came at Kansas Another NASCAR Cup champion, Kyle Larson , is also riding a lengthy winless drought. Larson ran well and led for 284 laps at Bristol, but extended his streak to 32 races by finishing third behind Ty Gibbs, who snapped his winless streak at 130 races, and Ryan Blaney.
Kansas is significant for the Hendrick Motorsports driver. His last win came there nearly a year ago on May 11, 2025. "Itโs kind of wild to think itโs been almost a year since Iโve won because I don't feel like we're that bad," Larson said last week.
