Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid had everything you want to see from a football match. Such a great atmosphere! I’m at the Allianz Arena quite often; I was there when it was first built in 2005.

There have been many magical nights. Normally, you’ll hear fans say, “Oh, the Bernabeu is so loud, so great”, or “Go check out Galatasaray if you want a serious atmosphere”. But on Wednesday night, I have to tell you: It was such a special atmosphere.

If I were a Spanish fan coming to Germany and experiencing this, I would be urging everyone to come to Munich and watch Bayern’s matches. Normally, you’d think Bayern are playing dominant football, as they have all season! But then it was a completely different experience in the second leg, also partly because of Manuel Neuer!
