ON THE APP STORE The Blues had a very quiet January, but things are expected to be different in the summer, with a number of positions in the squad needing to be addressed.

Chelsea are said to be in the market for a centre back, whilst they are also thought to want to add another midfielder and attacker. David Ornstein speaks on Chelsea transfer plans It’s been reported Chelsea are open to signing players with proven Premier League experience this summer, but until that happens fans have the right to remain sceptical. Chelsea already have both Geovany Quenda and Emmanuel Emegha arriving from Sporting Lisbon and Strasbourg respectively at the end of the season.

The Blues have also been linked with Morgan Rogers, and with Liam Delap’s struggles this season fans wouldn’t mind seeing another striker. However, how likely a new number nine is remains to be seen, and Ornstein has provided an update on Chelsea’s summer business. “Definitely expecting an attacker and a centre-back, the attacker perhaps being versatile as opposed to an out-and-out striker,” he told The Athletic.
