Florida baseball takes series opener against Auburn
Another strong performance from Aidan King and a three-run home run from Blake Cyr highlighted Florida baseball's series-opening win against Auburn.
Florida baseball opened its weekend series against the Auburn Tigers with a 6-3 win on Thursday night. Aidan King continued his reign of dominance over the SEC, holding Auburn to one run on three hits and two walks over six innings. All three of those hits came in the first inning as King found his footing.
After giving up the run, King retired 10 straight batters. Karson Bowen answered Auburn's run in the first inning for Florida. He doubled down the left field line to bring in Brendan Lawson.
