Cowboys Seemingly Dealing With Issue With Ex-Steeler George Pickens
Former Pittsburgh Steelers star George Pickens had an incredible year with the Dallas Cowboys. While Pickens had no questions about his talent and everything to do with what he does on the field, at times, by acting inappropriately, he seemingly figured that out last season in Dallas. Whether that was due to getting the football at the level he wanted, putting up the numbers he was hoping for, or trying to be on his best behavior because he knows he needs to get paid, Pickens did what he had to do in a very big year.
However, similar to how the Steelers seemingly felt about him as they traded him to the Cowboys, it sounds like Dallas could also be in a position to move on from him. Recently, when discussing what the trade market looks like for the former Steelers star, Stephen Jones, Jerry Jones' son, said there has been no interest in Pickens. "You hate to get into things like that, but no, we've had no one call with interest in George Pickens," Jones said on 105.
