Texas women's basketball: After leaving Longhorns, Jordan Lee transfers to South Carolina
According to a report by On3, former Texas guard Jordan Lee has committed to South Carolina. Texas and South Carolina have played seven times over the past two seasons.
On Thursday, a friend of the Texas women's basketball program became a foe. According to a report by On3, former UT guard Jordan Lee has committed to South Carolina. Lee entered the transfer portal last week and was seen at a South Carolina baseball game earlier on Tuesday.

The six-foot sophomore was the Longhorns' second-leading scorer at 13. 2 points per game, and she made 72 of the team's 164 3-pointers (no other Longhorn made more than 23 deep shots). Lee was additionally one of UT's top perimeter defenders this past season.
More: Subscribe to the Statesman's Texas sports newsletter But Lee also suffered through a notable shooting slump during the middle of the season, and she then missed 21 of the 26 shots that she took during UT's Elite Eight and Final Four games. Neither Lee nor UT coach Vic Schaefer have publicly commented on her decision to transfer from Texas. That, though, will be an unavoidable storyline this upcoming winter.
