Bayern Munich to make heavy changes at campus, such as sacking of U-19 head coach

The U-19 head coach will need to seek another job in the summer….apparently.

FC Nürnberg Campus director Michael Wiesinger has already been confirmed, with the 53-year-old set to take over on 1 May.

But even before his arrival, the former Bayern youth player is putting plans into motion ahead of some huge changes in the summer. Many of Bayern’s coaches find their position under threat, with U-23 head coach Holger Seitz to reportedly step into a different role in the summer. Alongside Seitz, Florian Plettenberg reports that U-19 head coach Peter Gaydarov seems set to be relieved of his duties: FC Bayern’s U19 head coach Peter Gaydarov will step down from his current role this summer.

34 y/o Gaydarov has received enquiries from professional clubs in Germany and abroad, so a departure from Bayern is a real possibility. Like Holger Seitz, he enjoys an excellent reputation. BFW Analysis Who knows whether this move is being made to bring in Wiesinger’s own guys or if this move is being made on sporting merit.

On first glance, however, there is some sporting merit for this decision. Gaydarov is a good manager and there are no real complaints about his management from the players, but there is always the feeling things should be a bit better. The team has a good offensive structure and has the ability to move the ball around the field in a competent manner.
