After playing the Spurs in France in January of 2025, the Pacers leave the country again to play the Nuggets in Mexico City on Nov. 7.

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Pacers will play a regular-season game in a foreign country in 2026-27, itโ€™s the second time in three seasons but this time they'll be staying on the continent. The NBA announced Thursday that the Pacers will be playing the Nuggets on Nov. 7 in the league's annual Mexico City Game at Arena CDMX in what will be the 35th NBA game in Mexico since 1992.

For the third straight year, the game will take place during the local Dia de Muertos (day of the dead) celebrations according to a press release. The game will be televised on ESPN internationally. It will be the Pacers' first trip to Mexico City after they played the Spurs and Victor Wembanyama in Paris in January of 2025.

โ€œWeโ€™re thrilled to bring Indiana Pacers basketball to Mexico City during such a meaningful and vibrant time of year," President & CEO of Pacers Sports & Entertainment Mel Raines said in a press release. "This is a great opportunity to celebrate our growing fan base in Mexico and across Latin America, while also recognizing the strong Hispanic and Latin American communities here in Indiana. By connecting our local and global fans, weโ€™re strengthening the shared culture, energy and love of the game that make this event so special.

โ€ The Pacers recently finished their worst season in franchise history at 19-63, but they are just one season removed from an NBA Finals trip and will return All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton after he missed all season with an Achilles tendon tear. The Nuggets finished the regular season 54-28 and enter the playoffs with the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference.
