With the offense, led by Baker Mayfield, for the most part set, even with the loss of Mike Evans, Tampa Bay needs defensive help, with some mock drafts having the Buccaneers adding a pass rusher. Of course, that varies with Keldric Faulk, Malachi Lawrence, and Cashius Howell all in the mix when the Buccaneers are on the clock. But if you thought the Buccaneers were focusing on one position, you're sadly mistaken, as general manager Jason Licht has detailed the franchise's approach to the first round.
"I feel like I've said this every year, you can never go wrong with taking the best player," Licht said via NFL. com . "You're going to be happy at some point that you did instead of trying to force a pick.
