Bolton rallies to beat Crown Point
BOLTON — Crown Point held a 13-9 lead with Bolton coming up to bat in the seventh inning. The Eagles scored five runs in the bottom half to defeat their Class D rival 14-13. Four Bolton players had multiple hit games led by Maelyn Hubert, Thea Kennedy and Jadynn Egloff going three-for-five at the plate.

Riley Huck finished the day 2-for-4. Huck’s hits were both doubles, and Kennedy and Ella Hens had one double each. Carly Smith added a triple.
Crown Point’s Kaitlin Ross and Madison Wayman had doubles as Leah Pockett finished 2-for-2 at the plate. Ross and Egloff battled from the pitcher’s mound. The Panther pitcher finished with six strikeouts to Egloff’s five.
