Over the past year or so, some have started to believe that Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow might want out.

It's a bit tough to get an exact feel for what Burrow wants to do, but it doesn't seem like anything is imminent in that regard. Burrow is in a good spot in Cincinnati and simply just needs to stay on the field to give his team a chance to win. While that doesn't take away from some of the flaws the Bengals have, it's also important to remember that he's dealt with his fair share of injuries and needs to be on the field in the future, no matter where he is.

Despite that, some believe that if he were traded, a scenario in which going to the Minnesota Vikings makes sense could arise. Being traded to the Vikings would allow him to play with his former college star, Justin Jefferson. “Minnesota would be a prime trade destination for Burrow, regardless of how well Murray plays this year.

Burrow is a more traditional quarterback than Murray whose game better suits the type of offense Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell has traditionally run over his four years with the team. "Murray is under contract for just one year, while JJ McCarthy is entering his third season after Minnesota selected him No. 10 in the 2024 draft.
