Rich Eisen reaches for a Rams story

Rich Eisen stepped in for the clicks this week, suggesting that the Rams have a fork in the road ahead between drafting Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson or trading for Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.

Of course, the Rams will almost certainly not do either of these things. For unknown reasons, Eisen avoids naming Burrow in the show but then puts “trade for Burrow” in the headline of the clip. “What’s more likely?

Write this down. The Rams draft and groom Matthew Stafford’s successor. Or Matthew Stafford’s successor is someone else’s current blue chip A+ plus Pro Bowl All-Pro quarterback who’s going to raise his hand like an NBA player and say I’m out of wherever I am.
