Saints legend Marques Colston to announce the team’s Day 2 NFL Draft picks

It’s also a time when several NFL legends are called upon with an opportunity announce their former team’s picks.
Earlier today, the NFL announced which former and current players would be taking part in that tradition and one very well-known and respected name will take to the podium for the New Orleans Saints. Marques Colston, who was selected by the Saints in the 7th round (252nd overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft, will be announcing the Saints Day 2 picks. New Orleans currently hold two picks, No.
42 (Round 2) and No. 73 (Round 3) on Friday, April 24. The Hofstra alum spent his entire 10-year NFL career in New Orleans.
(2006-2015) The wide receiver nicknamed “The Quiet Storm” went on to become the Saints all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. He helped lead the Saints to a victory in Super Bowl XLIV and was inducted into the Saints Hall of Fame in 2019. Colston will not be the only former Saint in Pittsburgh that day.
