Fiorentina vs Crystal Palace: Lineups and how to watch

Yahoo Sports

The Viola are going to go for it, not that “going for it” really means anything.

It’s an interesting solution to get Albert Guðmundsson and Manor Solomon into the XI without sticking either out on the right wing. That said, keep an eye on Fiorentina’s fullbacks.

Pietro Comuzzo is very much a central defender stuck out wide and Robin Gosens was an injury doubt and may not have a full 90 in his legs. Regardless, the decision to field 4 attackers shows that the mister’s willing to go for it, at least initially. If his boys pull back an early one, things could get a little interesting.

But probably only a little. Oliver Glasner, on the other hand, trots out something close to his strongest XI, indicating that Palace has no interest in removing its foot from the Viola neck. The traveling fans, at least, seem to be having fun.

We’ll see how that translates inside the Franchi, where word is the Curva Fiesole is planning a massive tifo. 😂 John Salako having a good time out in Italy with the Palace fans pic. twitter.
