Pietro Comuzzo is very much a central defender stuck out wide and Robin Gosens was an injury doubt and may not have a full 90 in his legs. Regardless, the decision to field 4 attackers shows that the mister’s willing to go for it, at least initially. If his boys pull back an early one, things could get a little interesting.
But probably only a little. Oliver Glasner, on the other hand, trots out something close to his strongest XI, indicating that Palace has no interest in removing its foot from the Viola neck. The traveling fans, at least, seem to be having fun.
