Tank Proctor flips from Auburn Tigers to Kentucky Wildcats
Miami, Florida, and Missouri were among the other schools to offer Proctor.
The Kentucky Wildcats are on the board again in the class of 2027, this one coming by flipping tight end Trae ‘Tank’ Proctor from the Auburn Tigers, according to Steve Wiltfong . Proctor officially made the flip on Thursday after mounting speculation that Kentucky was poised to land the offensive talent. A 6-5, 220-pound product of American Heritage (FL), Proctor committed to the Tigers back in January, but Will Stein and Co.
kept up the pressure, leading to the eventual flip. The 3-star prospect is ranked 761st overall by 247 Sports Composite, which also has him 41st among tight ends and 73rd in the state of Florida. Among the other schools to offer Proctor include the Miami Hurricanes, Florida Gators, Duke Blue Devils, Florida State Seminoles, Louisville Cardinals, SMU Mustangs, Iowa Hawkeyes, and Missouri Tigers, among others.
Kentucky Football is now up to nine pledges in the class of 2027, the first full cycle under Will Stein. Safe to say it’s shaping up to be a promising one for the Cats. Now, check out some highlights of Proctor in action from his junior campaign!
