As a former winner, he could receive a wild card. The tournament hasn’t announced its decisions yet, but a recent social media post suggests he’ll be back in Paris one last time. There is an outside chance the tribute could come after a qualifying match rather than main draw play, but that scenario doesn’t seem likely. If all goes as expected, fans can look forward to one last appearance from Wawrinka in Paris.
