Goodyear reveals tire setups for NASCAR at Kansas in April 2026
Goodyear has revealed the tire setups for the NASCAR races at Kansas Speedway in April 2026. Find out the tire codes for Kansas!
Goodyear is bringing a familiar tire for the NASCAR weekend at Kansas Speedway. The NASCAR Cup Series will use the same right-side tires that were used in last fall's weekend at Kansas. The Cup Series has also run this setup at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in March and Darlington Raceway in the Goodyear 400.
Meanwhile, the NASCAR O'Reilly Series has a similar situation. Goodyear introduced new right-side tires in 2025, and the O'Reilly Series will use them again at Kansas. In fact, the NASCAR level used the tire setup at Las Vegas as well.
The O'Reilly Series will also run the inner liners, as normal, on 1-mile tracks and longer. "We introduced new right-side Goodyear Racing Eagle tires last fall, which help give teams different strategy options as the race unfolds,” said Rick Heinrich, Goodyear NASCAR product manager. “This will already be the third time Cup Series teams have run this setup in 2026, so they come to Kansas with valuable data under their belts.
” The hope is that Goodyear's tires in the Cup and O'Reilly Series will provide reasonable tire wear. It would be amazing to see different strategies play out through the races. NASCAR is back in Kansas, and hopefully, the tires perform as desired to enhance the on-track product.
