2026 NFL Draft: Steelers may have found a trade partner
The Pittsburgh Steelers may have found a trade partner in the 2026 NFL Draft, as the Miami Dolphins admit a willingness to trade back.
With over 12 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft , the Pittsburgh Steelers are highly expected to trade up during the exciting event โ and one potential trade partner may have emerged. On Wednesday, Miami Dolphins general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan admitted that the team will be more likely to trade down than up in the 2026 NFL Draft. Dolphins GM Jon-Eric Sullivan says they are more likely to trade down than trade up in this draft.
Sully says where they are in roster building stage where heโd value 2 good players over 1 really good players. Dolphins have 11 picks (7 in the top 100) & could seek even more. โ Cameron Wolfe (@CameronWolfe) April 15, 2026 Holding the No.
11 overall pick, the Dolphins might be the perfect trade partner for the Steelers , who may be looking to trade up from their spot at 21 for a high-profile prospect, such as USC wide receiver Makai Lemon or Penn State guard Vega Ioane. Pulling off a trade with the Dolphins, however, may require Pittsburgh to send two of their three third-round draft picks, along with the 21st overall pick, to facilitate a deal. If Miami is truly looking to trade down from the 11th spot, the Steelers cannot afford to pass up an opportunity to move up for a potentially generational talent, especially when the roster appears to be just a few moves away from contention status.
