NBC's Kevin Kisner apologizes to CBS for Masters criticism: 'I crossed the line'
The golf analyst apologized for his comments about the rival network's Masters coverage.
Kevin Kisner has apologized for critical comments he made earlier this week about CBS' Masters coverage. The four-time PGA Tour winner and current NBC golf analyst ripped the rival network over their telecast from Augusta National last week on Monday. On Wednesday, he said he was sorry on the latest episode of Barstool's Fore Play podcast.
"It's been an interesting few days, but it is what it is, and I just have to apologize to the golf team at CBS," Kisner said on Wednesday. "I crossed the line, probably, too much, by talking about that whole content, and I know, from my short time in the business, how wild production is. " "It is a very difficult thing to produce a live show and make it all work," Kisner added.
"And everybody does their best, NBC screws up all the time, and we're just trying to do our best. And I went to far on being critical on them and I just want all the people associated with it to know I apologize.
