ESPN says Broncos could target this position with first draft pick

ESPN believes offensive tackle could be in play for the Broncos at pick No. 62 in the second round.

With the 2026 NFL draft now just one week away, many Denver Broncos fans are eager to see potential additions at tight end and running back. Another offensive position group is flying a bit under the radar. The Broncos have preached about the importance of building up the offensive line , despite all five starting linemen from last season returning in 2026.

At the offensive tackle spots, in particular, left-side protector Garett Bolles will turn 34 next month, and right tackle Mike McGlinchey (31) has two years left on his current contract. Denver might begin planning ahead at tackle by drafting a younger player to develop behind Bolles and McGlinchey. ESPN's Matt Miller suggested such a scenario in a pre-draft round-up earlier this month.

"With only one pick inside the top 100, the Broncos must be strategic about how they'll fill needs in this draft," Miller wrote for ESPN . "One position I've heard could be in play at No. 62 is offensive tackle.

" One notable tackle prospect who might be available in the second round is Miami's Markel Bell (6-9, 346 pounds), a massive tackle who earned third-team All-ACC recognition playing left tackle last fall. The 2026 NFL draft will be held in Pittsburgh from April 23-25. Social : Follow Broncos Wire on Facebook and Twitter/X !
