MVP offers opponents to Katie Taylor for a final fight at Croke Park
Katie Taylor will have no shortage of opponents for a final fight in Ireland.
It’s no secret that Katie Taylor is nearing the finish line of her professional fighting career nor that she would hope for a proper sendoff at Croke Park in Dublin, even if she is a bit doubtful that it happens. Enter Most Valuable Promotions, with co-founder Nakisa Bidarian saying he’s down to provide the services of one of his notable fighters to make the event as big as possible. Bidarian specifically mentions the likes of Caroline Dubois or the winner of Holly Holm vs Stephanie Han and tells Sky Sports they are prepared to work hand-in-hand with Taylor’s longtime Matchroom promoter to see it to fruition .
“I don’t want to ever overstep that relationship because they’ve worked together her entire career and I think to Katie’s credit she’s always been loyal to them, whether she’s in contract with them or not, and we want to respect that. It’s only bigger if we do it together,” Bidarian said. “If Eddie and I sat down together and came up with a plan for that Croke Park fight, we want to do it together.
” For Hearn’s part, he also would love to see Taylor have her final outing at Croke Park but says he absolutely wouldn’t place her on an undercard bill, with Croke representatives saying that a potential Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua fight at the location would provide Taylor will the ability to fight at the location. As of now there’s still time and details to work out all the particulars of how this will all shake out, but who would you most want to see Taylor face in the final fight of her career?
