The Red Devils had already fought off efforts from Manchester City to lure Gabriel away from the club last year and are now working to secure his long-term future at the club. Comfortable playing as a centre-forward or on the left flank, Gabriel also possesses an Irish passport, making him eligible to play in EU countries without any issues from the age of 16, making him an even more enticing target.

It will be interesting to see whether Real Madrid or any of the clubs make any move for Gabriel in the summer or if Manchester United are able to convince their teenage wonderkid to remain at the club for a long time.
