Reports in Saudi Arabia suggest he’s struck a deal to join Al-Hilal and that it will be announced imminently. Al-Hilal have reportedly been purchased by Saudi royal Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal. He’s a fan of the club and intends to up their investment.
That deal should be announced later today in what’s a massive shakeup for Saudi Arabia’s biggest club. And that shakeup includes a deal for Hughes, who will leave Liverpool early. Hughes’s contract runs until 2027 but it appears he’s ready to call it quits now.
