Wisconsin Badgers forward Quinn Finley has signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the New York Islanders. The team announced its newest acquisition on April 15, as Finley is the latest Badgers men's hockey player to make it to the next level. Remember, the Islanders selected Finley in the third round of the 2022 NHL draft.

He was selected with the No. 78 overall pick. It should also be noted that entry-level contracts are age-dependent .

With National Championship experience, the 43-34-5 Islanders could certainly use a forward like Finley on their roster. The Wisconsin native made quite a name for himself in the USHL prior to his time in Madison. In total, Finley scored 89 points in 110 career NCAA games.
