Wisconsin men's hockey defender signs with AHL contender
Senior Wisconsin Badgers men's hockey defender Aiden Dubinsky signed a professional tryout contract.
Fresh off a trip to the National Championship game, Wisconsin Badgers men's hockey defender Aiden Dubinsky has signed a professional tryout contract with the Laval Rocket. The Rocket have already clinched the playoffs this season and are the AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadians. The Canadians find themselves in the Stanley Cup Playoffs as well, and have quite a superstar on their hands with a 50-goal scorer.
Cole Caufield, a Mosinee, Wisconsin, native, played collegiate hockey with the Badgers . Regardless, now all eyes are on Dubinsky. The senior defenseman is one of the notable players leaving this Badgers squad , but he's clearly already onto bigger and better things.
