Marseille midfielder Bilal Nadir set to leave on a free transfer According to a report from L’Équipe , Marseille midfielder Bilal Nadir (22) is set to leave the club on a free transfer this summer – with midfield departures also possible for Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, Geoffrey Kondogbia as Arthur Vermeeren returns to Leipzig following the end of his loan move with Les Olympiens . The Moroccan extended his contract with the club back in 2024, until the end of the current season. Nadir has featured in a bit-part role under Habib Beye following the departure of Roberto De Zerbi after recovering from an ACL injury the previous season.
The Moroccan has featured in 19 matches this season, but suffered a health scare in October when he collapsed on the pitch against Angers. Nadir is a pure product of the Marseille academy, but he could be leaving the club for nothing by the end of this season. The Moroccan has seen his minutes reduced dramatically since Beye’s arrival at the club, with the former Newcastle defender opting to stick to a midfield mainly composed of Quinten Timber and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg in the second half of the season.
