The report states an agreement has been reached between his agent Pini Zahavi and Barcelona to extend his current deal, which runs until 2027, for one more year.

Flick’s in no rush to put pen to paper but is now expected to officially commit to Barcelona at the end of the current season. The report adds that Flick has already made one transfer demand to the Catalan giants. The German is not demanding great changes within his squad for next season but does want “one more player.

” Barcelona, as per usual, are currently being linked with dozens of players from across the globe, with the focus being on center-backs and center-forwards. Yet there’s still plenty of debate about how Barca plan to add to their squad, with decisions still to be made on the futures of Robert Lewandowski, Andreas Christensen and Marcus Rashford and financial issues still a problem.
