2026 TAPPS state tennis tournament: Ursuline, Grapevine Faith, Shelton all claim state championships
Several Dallas-area programs had athletes competing in Waco at the TAPPS state tennis tournament.
TAPPS logo (TAPPS/Logo) The TAPPS state tennis tournament is happening this week at Waco Regional Tennis Center and several Dallas-area schools are out there competing for championships. Ursuline ruled the day in the 6A girls portion of the tournament. Erin Gan-Dy starred in singles, topping San Antonio TMI's Isabella Zertuche 2-0 in the final.
Ursuline wasn't done as the duo of Catherine Hochman and Marie Therese Ducayet won the 6A doubles state title. In the 5A tournament, Grapevine Faith claimed a state title in girls doubles. Vivian Stoll and Izabella DeMarque topped Austin Regents' Addison Teixeira and Carolina Scott 2-0.
Shelton also won a state championship in the 4A tournament as Emory Cox and Berkley Cox beat Boerne Geneva's duo in the girls doubles finals. See the full list of results below.
