In the end, having the option of Musiala and Davies on the bench was the best way to go and it would eventually pay dividends. What was not the best, however, was an absolute howler given up by Manuel Neuer just a minute into the game. Neuer horribly misplaced a pass to his right, which landed on the foot of Arda Güler.
