Longhorns women's basketball adds elite recruit Isi Etute to it's 2026 class.
The Lady Longhorns had a reason to celebrate on Wednesday as their 2026 class got a massive boost. Texas announced that Isi Etute had officially committed to the Longhorns. Her decision to join Texas becoming official is a welcome update, as over the last few days, head coach Vic Schaefer has lost a few key pieces to the transfer portal.
In Etute, the Longhorns are getting a player ranked No. 24 in the 2026 class by ESPN. The Luxembourg native burst onto the scene during the 2024 campaign, averaging 18.
7 points and 13. 4 rebounds per game with the youth national team. After that, Etute transferred to the IMG Academy in Florida, where she continued to impress.
