UNC backup center becomes latest Tar Heel to enter transfer portal
North Carolina reserve center Ivan Matlekovic has entered the transfer portal, becoming the latest Tar Heel to seek a move, Inside Carolina reported Wednesday. The 7-footer from Sisak, Croatia, spent his only season at UNC in a limited role, appearing in four games and logging seven total minutes before a hand injury ended his season in January. He scored his only points of the year on a basket in the Tar Heels’ 99-51 win over East Carolina on Dec.
