Sooners line up visit with local QB recruit this weekend
The Sooners are going to be getting a visit from a local product for the spring game.
The Oklahoma Sooners will wrap up spring football practices on Saturday with the annual spring game in Norman, and they'll have a local standout recruit in the stands. According to 247Sports' Mike Roach, class of 2028 quarterback Nash Henry will be visiting OU on Saturday for the spring game. Henry hails from Norman North High School, where he threw for 29 touchdowns and over 3,000 yards last year as just a sophomore.
While Oklahoma has locked in a commitment from their preferred passer in the 2027 class in Jamison Roberts, there's still a long ways to go when it comes to the '28 class. Norman (OK) North 2028 QB Nash Henry has several spring visits lined up over the next few weeks. As a sophomore, Henry threw for over 3,000 yards and 29 touchdowns https://t.

Oklahoma's only QB offer so far in the '28 class has gone out to Graham Simpson, the younger brother of former Alabama QB Ty Simpson, out of the state of Tennessee. However, it looks like the Sooners are keeping a close eye on a potential emerging star that is very close to home. Had a great time visiting @OU_Football !
