Scott O'Neil, according to ESPN's Jeff Darlington as well as Front Office Sports , told LIV employees that the "season continues exactly as planned, uninterrupted and at full throttle. " LIV Golf Mexico City is the circuit's sixth event of 2026 and it's scheduled to start at Club de Golf Chapultepec on Thursday.

Wednesday saw a rise in the reporting, some of it declaring emergency meetings were being held, others determining that the Public Investment Fund of the government of Saudi Arabia was on the verge of cutting financial ties with the golf league.
