Former Clemson forward Jake Wahlin has announced where he will be playing basketball next season.

Jake Wahlin is on the move again, and this time it brings him full circle, just not in the way some might expect. After spending one season at Clemson , the forward is transferring to BYU, landing back in his home state of Utah. Wahlin began his college career with Utah, making this decision even more notable as he now joins the Utes’ in-state rival in Provo, the same city he’s from.

His year with the Tigers featured steady playing time, as Wahlin worked his way into the starting lineup and held that role for most of the season. He started 29 games and averaged 5. 3 points along with 3.

9 rebounds per outing. While he wasn’t a primary scoring option, he provided versatility and effort on both ends. His top performance came in a 14-point game against Morehead State, though his offensive numbers cooled off late in the year, as he didn’t hit double figures in the final stretch of the season.

Before arriving at Clemson , Wahlin had already proven he could handle a larger role. At Utah, he made 23 starts during the 2024-25 campaign and filled the stat sheet with 6. 3 points, 4.
