Wednesday was the final day for NFL teams to host players at their facilities. Missouri linebacker Josiah Trotter and defensive tackle Chris McClellan, who should both be selected somewhere in the middle portion of the draft, visited the Giants. The Giants, of course, have a need at defensive tackle whether or not Dexter Lawrence is with the team during the upcoming season.

McClelan is the 116th-ranked player on the NFL Mock Draft Database Big Board. That would put him in Round 4. In his draft guide, Dane Brugler of The Athletic says: McClellan looks like an NFL player, with his big frame and bear-claw hands.

He can be a tough guy for centers to defend when he times up the snap and uses his full extension or arm-over moves to create interior pressure. However, he can get stuck on blocks and needs to be more efficient with his hands to deconstruct and shed. Against the run, he can hold the point and respond well to double teams.
