Ford, a Gainesville, Georgia, native, is listed as the No. 59 offensive tackle and No. 661 player in the 2027 class.
Ford, who is listed at 6-5 and 325 pounds, played left tackle at Gainesville High. Ford recently visited Miami and impressed the coaches with his football IQ, a UM source said. Ford has been on the Hurricanes’ radar since offensive line coach Alex Mirabal watched him practice during his junior season, the source said.
