Marquette guard Sean Jones will transfer to Toledo
Sean Jones grew up in Ohio, and he's transferring to Toledo after four injury-plagued years at Marquette.
Marquette men's basketball guard Sean Jones is going back home. Toledo announced on April 15 that the 5-foot-10 Ohio native would join the program after Jones entered the transfer portal in March. š„šššš¬ to take šššššš§ in the 4ā£1ā£9⣠!!

He was beset by injuries over his four seasons at MU. The biggest blow was a devastating knee injury that kept him out of a MU uniform for 21 months as he redshirted the 2024-25 season for rehab.
He only played in eight games last season after shoulder and toe maladies. Jones was in MU's 2022 recruiting class, the first set of prospects fully recruited at the school by head coach Shaka Smart. Jones was a three-time all-state player at Gahanna Lincoln High School outside of Columbus, Ohio.
