Conor McGregor vs. Artem Lobov whiskey lawsuit reaches settlement
Conor McGregor once flew across the world to defend Artem Lobov, but more recently they've been on opposite sides of a courtroom.
Conor McGregor once flew across the Atlantic Ocean to defend the honor of his friend, Artem Lobov. That was many years ago, though – eight to be exact. A lot has happened since then.
McGregor and Lobov have more recently been on opposite sides of an Irish courtroom, engaging in legal fisticuffs. Lobov had accused McGregor of leaving him out of a promised 5 percent stake in his Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey company.
On Wednesday, however, a settlement was reached between the parties and approved by a judge, according to The Irish Times . Exact details of the settlement were not revealed. By settling, the parties avoided an eight-day trial.
McGregor thanked Lobov for "his hard work for my whiskey business," according to McGregor's attorney Mark Lynam. Meanwhile, Lobov told reporters outside the court room he was happy with the resolution. McGregor no longer has ownership stake in Proper No.
