Roy returns to PSL after signing for Karachi Kings

Former England opener Jason Roy has been signed by Karachi Kings for the remainder of the Pakistan Super League. The 35-year-old Surrey batter has been brought in as a replacement for Muhammad Waseem, who is set to miss the end of the tournament while on international duty with United Arab Emirates. Roy played a solitary season in the PSL for Lahore Qalandars in 2016 and five years for the Quetta Gladiators between 2017 and 2024.

He has made 1,260 runs in 38 innings in the PSL at an average of 36. 00 including two centuries and eight fifties. Roy played five Tests, 116 ODIs and 64 T20 internationals for England between 2014 and 2023.
