MVP and Netflix will host another press conference Wednesday with Nate Diaz and Mike Perry joining Rousey, Carano and more.

NEW YORK – Most Valuable Promotions and Netflix continue promotional efforts into their first MMA venture on Wednesday with the second press conference for Rousey vs. Carano on May 16. UFC Hall of Famer Ronda Rousey (12-2) is set to return to competition for the first time since December 2016 when she takes on fellow legend Gina Carano (7-1) in a five-round women's featherweight bout at Intuit Dome, with the event set to stream on Netflix.

The co-main event, meanwhile, features former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou (18-3) making his combat sports return for the first time since October 2024 vs. 2018 PFL champion Philipe Lins (18-5) in a five-round heavyweight bout. Additionally, the iconic Nate Diaz (21-13) will compete in MMA for the first time since September 2022 when he takes on BKFC "King of Violence" Mike Perry (14-8) in a five-rounder at welterweight.

All six athletes will be on stage to answer questions at Wednesday's press conference from Palladium Times Square in Manhattan, along with MVP CEO Nakisa Badarian and host Ariel Helwani. The event begins at 6:30 p. m.
