The Indiana Hoosiers have added a big man with SEC starting experience. According to college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, former Alabama forward Aiden Sherrell has committed to coach Darian DeVries' team. Sherrell, a 6-foot-10 sophomore from Detroit, saw minimal action as a true freshman last year but started 34 games this past season.
Sherrell averaged 11. 1 points and 6. 2 rebounds per game.
He also led the Crimson Tide and ranked in the top 15 nationally in blocks per game with 2. 2. A five-star recruit and McDonald's All-American coming out of high school, Sherrell is heading to the Big Ten with two remaining seasons of eligibility.
