Nearly two weeks removed from losing in the Final Four, the Illinois men's basketball team received a major update Wednesday from the arguably most-liked player on the team, David Mirković. Mirković plans to return for his sophomore season.

Mirković took to Twitch on Wednesday to share his plans for his sophomore season in Champaign in the only way he knew how: suspense. It began with a reposted Instagram story from the Illinois Men's Basketball account of Mirković notifying his followers to hop on Twitch at 3 p. m.
ET (2 p. m. CT).
After answering fan questions for the first 25 minutes, Mirković said he needed to "lock in" before giving a speech about what this past season meant to him. Among everything discussed, Mirković, who averaged 13. 3 points and 8 rebounds this past season, teased that he would change his major to creative writing instead of Recreation, Sport and Tourism (his current major at the university), which left everyone confused.
